MY THANK YOU TO THE US ARMED FORCES
I want to share this with the world. First of all I want to say that "Friends" are few and far between. If you get as lucky as I did, you should have one of the best and most blessed friends in the whole world. Susan, I must say is the most remarkable person I have ever met and she would give any and everything for me. But, as I sit back and think.... all I could ever ask of her is for her friendship. I have been blessed with her friendship for over 20 years, I wish you all knew her and could share in our joy. She is the most compassionate person and is filled with so much love, she looks like she is going to burst sometimes. The feeling of knowing she is "MY" best friend is the best feeling in the world. My point to this is my friend Susan, loves to write poems and she shared one with me today. She just sits down and puts on paper what comes out of her heart and today it happened to be about Veterans Day. A holiday we all know is coming up. I would like the world, soldiers and family members to know what true friends are all about and that she and I are not the only ones praying for our soldiers and their family's. I hope this reaches the hearts of those who need a little hope in life. Susan gives me hope and the strength to keep going when I don't think I can. Thank you Susan for you unconditional friendship and for your poem. God Bless you!
