Christmas Shopping and Holiday Giving
Christmas Shopping So it's that time of year again to shop until you drop. I for one have done my share of shopping this year. I have been shopping since Black Friday and it feels like I don't have anything. The thing is is that I have to stop and remind myself that Christmas isn't about just the gifts. The gifts are nice and all but it's about being with your family. Family is the most important thing during the holiday's. I love to see the smile on my children's faces when they open there gifts but the one thing that I enjoy the most is when they look at me after the dinner, the gifts, the house to house visiting, the packing the car, the unpacking the car and all the mess that comes with Christmas.....is the smile that I see on there faces when its bed time and you now they are so tried from the whole day that they just look at you with the sweetest smile and say "Mommy, did Santa take some gifts to the kids that don't have mommies and daddies" my son would ask. So there out the whole day of getting and getting, he stops to think about the children without families to share the holidays with. So when you are out doing your shopping think about the children. In just about every store there are donation boxes or money drop off. The holidays is a time for families and everyone deserves to have the best even if there is no one to spend it with.
