James Island Festival of Lights
The James Island Festival of Lights is an amazing way to get in the holiday spirit! There are over three miles of lights. The lights are designed to be different characters or objects. Some of the different categories in the JIFL include Candy Land, North Pole, and Dinosaur Land. They even have their own AM radio station that they play Christmas music on for your listening pleasure while you enjoy the watching the lights. Sponsors from the Charleston area donate money to help pay for the lights and up keep of the park. The proceeds from entrance fees goes toward various charities. This really is a great way to share and spread Christmas cheer!
