Memorable Christmas Mornings
One of the most memorable Christmas mornings was when I was about 7 years old. It was one of those rare winters that it actually snowed in South Carolina. The ground was covered in white. When I went downstairs, I saw evidence that Santa had done his job. There were big, boot-shaped, snowy footprints going from the fireplace to the Christmas tree and back. I was so overwhelmed with excitement that I started yelling for my mom to "come see!" She was just as surprised as I was to see snow shaped boot prints inside our living room! I'm still not 100% sure as to how the prints stayed so perfectly in tact and un-melted all night long, but Mom said it's because they were Santa's and everything about him is magic! Rachel
