Kickin Cancer Nite Owl Ride! Can you endure 12 hours of biking at night. This will be helping cancer patients continue there fight with cancer. The object of this is to see how long you can endure the ride in the dark. Well if I thought I could ride a bike for 12 hours I would. I will tell you a little story about what cancer has done to my family. On July 2nd 2009, I lost my uncle to bone cancer. This hurt me so bad that I think I cried for 2 weeks straight. When he was told that he had bone cancer and that he only had 6 months to live, he called me and told me to meet him at his house he needed to talk to me. Well after I got off work I went to him and when he told me what the doctor said, I lost it. You have to understand this was my favorite uncle we did everything together. So from that day on we went and just lived it up we did everything that we have always wanted to do. And when my dad called and told me the news that he was gone, I went to him right away. I knew that it was going to happen just not this soon I thought he would be here another 6 months. I held his hand and kissed him on the forehead and told him I would be ok, thats when I knew I would do everything in my power to help others with this disease. So anything that helps I will do it.
