Many Of You Probably Remember The Myrtle Beach Pavilion. That Is If You Ever Went To Myrtle Beach. The Myrtle Beach Pavilion Was One Of The Main Attractions In South Carolina That Has Drawn So Many Tourists To This Particular Beach, Since 1948-2006. The Myrtle Beach Pavilion Was An Original Family Theme/Amusement Park That Had Been In Myrtle Beach For 58 Years To Entertain Friends And Family, When All Of A Sudden, Some "Genius" Came Along With The Idea To Tear It Down In 2006... The Reason Never Known. Myrtle Beach Has Never Been The Same Since Then And Never Will Be. Some Say That It Was Torn Down To Make Room For More Hotels, Which The Beach Already Has Enough Of, And Some Say That They Plan On Rebuilding The Pavilion... Even So, It Will Not Be The 'Same" Pavilion Tradition That Some Grandparents And Maybe Even Some Great Grandparents Knew Back In Their Day. Some Also Say That The Pavilion Has Been Replaced With "Hard Rock Park". Assuming You Have Heard Of It, This Is Also A Theme Park Based Off Of Rock N Roll Music That They Play. People Have Had Their Different Opinions On This New Theme Park Built In Myrtle Beach... Some Say That It's A Waste Of Money And A Waste Of Vacation Time, Some Say That It's Awesome... Whatever The Case, I Say It Will NEVER Replace The Myrtle Beach Pavilion. The People That Came Up With The Idea Of Tearing Down The Myrtle Beach Pavilion Theme Park Should Be Ashamed Of Themeselves... Not Only Did It Cost The Citys Population To Go Down, Even During Vacation Time, But It Also Ruined Some Family Traditions! It Seems As Though, Nothing In This World Is Valued Anymore. I Would Like To Take This Time To Say Thank You To "The Myrtle Beach Pavilion" For Giving Us All 58 WONDERFUL Years Of Tradition And Memories! I Hope That Many Of You Feel The Same.
